Me and a few buddies are coming down from Monroe for the game this Saturday vs. Western Kentucky. Where is the best free parking? Also what should we do gameday? Been to Lsu many times for baseball and softball games, but this is the first time going to a football game. Any tips are much appreciated! Geaux Tigers!!!

Free parking comes with a good walk. A lot of people park along the side of the road on Burbank, or at least used to . That will probably get you the closest. Or you can park in the University Hills neighborhood. Off of LSU avenue. I've found free parking there before.

We're all young, early to mid twenties, so we don't mind a little walking. Do the grass lots between the baseball and intramural fields fill up fast? Appreciate the help!

I used the levee lot last year, but it's a nice walk. If you want free, that's my suggestion.

Obviously you should dress like this:

We will have to break out the duck dynasty Halloween costumes early, haha.

Park at the old front nine or the golf course. They shouldn't fill up if you get there at a reasonable time.

Just park wherever and hitch a ride with someone you see driving by in a truck. I've had plenty hop in the back and tag along for the ride.

Hay field, Levee lot, old front 9 and driving range are all free and not too bad of a walk

Get there before 11am and you will be able to park around the nicholson/burbank intersection lot which is free and close by the stadium.
