Started talking to this girl and everything went smoothly but she made it pretty clear that her job will always come first and can sometimes go a day or two without texting/calling.

So you say. Good friend of mine recently broke up with a chick like this. She NEVER put him or their relationship first. She is a nurse and would constantly pick up extra shifts....including on nights that he had already made plans for them(he would be on his way to pick her up and she would text him saying "sorry, gotta work tonight"). Crazy thing is this chick is like 35 and thinks she can keep acting like this. She wants kids, but not until after she is 40. She is gonna be in for a rude awakening when she is 40 and no man wants her crazy self.

Just enjoy the sex while you can then find someone else. It's ok to take your work seriously but above everything else is ridiculous. As she gets older her viewpoint will change but I doubt you want to wait that long.

She's gonna be in for an even ruder awakening being pregnant after 40.

If you are already thinking it might be an issue I wouldn't do it. If it ever gets serious you're going to want her to change and that's just not going to happen. It will end badly.

That's what I didn't get. She is a nurse, she should be fully aware of all the major risks of being pregnant after 40. I'm a nurse and because I know of all the risks....I refuse to be pregnant after 40.

you don't really need advice at all...

thankfully, she has told you up front what the deal is...you need to be honest with yourself whether that is ok with you or not. I personally don't like talking on the phone and would be totally fine with that situation, but a lot of people need much more attention. You already know what kind of person you are, so just be honest with yourself and decide whether you are ok with that situation without constantly feeling neglected.
