Do you read any of the comments in the comments section after articles?

I used to read some of them but haven't in a long time.

I read them if I'm not familiar with the website. It gives a quick overview of their audience.

Definitely. It makes Scruffy feel better about himself.

I do sometimes, but they are usually pretty terrible

No. Everytime I read them, I detest most humans a little more. It's best for me to just ignore them.

This is basically why I stopped reading them.

Almost always on news websites because I like to see how stupid stupid actually is. You'd think they were all trolling each other, but nope

Usually if they even allow them.
I read the comments section of an article I posted the other day from the NYT about blacks blaming racism as the reason the Republicans won't confirm Obama's SC nominee.
The comments pretty much made me lose all faith in the black community and further strengthened my hate of white SJW's.

Want to feel infinitely smarter than your peers? Read the comments after a WBRZ/WAFB/Advocate article link on Facebook. There are some truly stupid people in Baton Rouge that are willing to publicly state their ignorance about anything under the sun.

correct, which is why I'm in favor of plato's philosopher king rulers.
You run the risk of despotism but it's better than the sheer madness of the masses. I encourage most people not to vote in elections.

Yes and it makes me sad to see the vast amount of morons in our country.

The comments section tells you more about America than the articles. I skim the articles and read the comments.

On some articles.
None written by Larry Leo the creepiest guy in Internet news.

I think that a lot of those people believe their FB and other posts online are a conversation between two people. When they write things, they don't realize the whole world can read it

Ges every time. It always offers a few details on the topic that were intentionally excluded from the article.

This. Click on NOLA.com right now and go read the comments. It's sad. It's makes me feel like I do when I go to fast food restaurants in general.

KATC Lafayette commenters laugh at this proposition.
They are even more stupid and racist than the posters on the Poli Board. They make WAFB commenters look like a distinguished panel of academicians holding a round table discussion under the most elegant of circumstances.

Comments on 90% of WAFB articles are absolute gold.
