LSU may not get a bid, and if they do, I could see them maybe turning it down.

I would hope not. I would also hope LSU's administration would step in and decline the bid. This season's team doesn't deserve another game anywhere.

I find it hard to think LSU would make money on the NIT, CBI, CIT or Vegas tournament. And if LSU isn't going to make money on it, the money shouldn't be spent. Despite the surplus athletics makes, if we're going to be bottom line on everything (especially in basketball), the last thing we need to lose money on after this shitshow of a season is men's basketball.

I'd recommend saving the athletic department's money to add to the TAF kiddy to (hopefully) eventually buy out Miles and Jones in the next year or two since F--King Alexander and his minions are pinching pennies these days.
