I was too busy to see the match, and only had it on TD while working.

I thought the same thing (what with the goals).

One goofy but great fricking player.

ETA between all these shootings, and work, I haven´t been able to see the match (which my wife taped for me). Anyway, Portugal´s going to pull it off, and I´ll love to see the reactions on this board (No Spain, no care, but hey, at least it´s the same peninsula).

AtM develops players, of that there is no doubt.

Something in the water of the Manzanares.

They´re very lucky to have him back, and they need to go balls to the wall now, or regress to obscurity.

I thought they´d pull Bacca, there is only Higuaín left, no? No Simeone, no use for Higuaín.

Methinks they´d love to have him, and God knows he´d like to be there, but I don´t know what Chelsea wants.

What did Chelsea pay for him, anyway?

Sterling or Euros? If Sterling, then I could see the splash in Euros right now.

He was probably Chelsea´s best player last season. Certainly the most entertaining.

Otherwise, it´s complicated. He´s great for them, if they still have Simeone (I think he bolts), but otherwise, we´d have to see who takes the helm.

IMO Sociedad should be given credit for his development.. He progressed every year with them...

The English melt for Griezmann:

quote:

FULHAM, GRIEZMANN, MITROGLOU...

Considering what happened last night, it’s worth remembering that Fulham could have signed Antoine Griezmann in 2014.

However, they were quoted a fee of £12m by Real Sociedad and the move did not materialise.

Instead they signed Kostas Mitroglou, for a similar fee on Deadline Day. Fair to say that didn't turn out too well...

Oh, I most certainly agree. That said, Simeone, and Atléti´s schedule, put him into superstar orbit.
