It obviously wasn't really the money so much since he's taking a pay cut.

Alexander the Great would lose 5 games in the SEC West.

Xerxes could probably put together some great blitz packages, though. Attila as OC and you have a staff that could compete in the SEC West. Hannibal as special teams coach. That's the standard now.

And maybe five years away from leaving the program in shambles.

Yes, Alex would be too busy having sex with all the kickers and punters...

Ask pretty much any Louisville fan....that program isn't in the best shape.

Aside from that, the guy just comes off as a weasel.

Arky will suck next year no matter what, but after that it is going to be another top 25 team to contend with.

Think about it.

During the average year, an SEC team will have to beat some mix of the following coaches week in and week out to go undefeated:

Nick Saban
Mark Richt
Tommy Tubberville
Steve Spurrier
Urban Meyer
Phil Fulmer
Les Miles
Bobby Petrino

Not to mention getting Croomed or playing Nutt, the king of coaching up.

etc..

How in the hell is anyone supposed to be able to do that?
