Going to campus on Saturday for my first time in a long time with my two kids ages 5 and 3. Anybody setting up at the parade grounds where there will be other kids around the same age as mine?

Yea, I'll be in the windowless van. Just send them over.

Parade ground isn't the place for young children.

Just so that you are aware, the Parade Grounds can be somewhat rowdy on game day because that is where the Greeks tailgate. I've tailgated there for a number of years as well. For non-conference games, the little ones often have room to play. But it gets packed and hectic for SEC games.

Don't expect an honest answer or legit answer. This is what I do/did:
Bring your own stuff and set it up where you park. Head down to N. Stadium drive 3 1/2 hours before kick off. Walk around and find a good spot to watch the players, band and cheerleaders. You'll see plenty of kids out there for yours to play with.
After that you can:
A. head back to your vehicle for a little bit.
B. get to your seats and watch the players warm-up.
Enjoy the game

The Ole Miss game will be a lot less kid friendly.

If your children can do keg stands, they'll fit in just fine on the Parade Grounds.

When you hear someone scream "World Star!" runs towards it and bring your kid.

Prob not, that area is rocking these days, mostly fraternities and college kids.

My recommendation - take them by the PMAC, watch the Tiger Band come down the hill, plenty food trucks and live music there, go into the PMAC (if you don't have a TAF card, then just enter with any random person going in as there is no limit on number in a party). Inside PMAC, there is free soft drinks and beer, Bama - aTm on big screen, and A/C. You can buy food there. The Tiger Band will enter at 6:20 to perform pre-game and the entire halftime show. THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO!
And even though it's fenced off, there are kids running down the Indian Mounds every game. I think parents just lift them over.

The PG is a mixed crowd. Stick to the Perimeter and its perfectly fine for kids. You'll see kids throwing footballs and climbing trees and such.
