In 2012, this precinct had 1,600 total votes. No idea how many were early. If none, that averages to 1,600/13 hours = 123/hour
Through 4.5 hours, we have hit 500, for 111/hour.
Again, though, this has no count for early (assume another 20%), and the post-work rush will skew everything much higher at the end.

Pretty sure election "judges" aren't supposed to report that stuff

Nobody told me in the day of training I had.
Well-versed in MN state election laws, are you? What ID's can I accept for ID to register?

Is this a liberal or conservative area?

He wouldn't be the first "judge" brought down by posting on TD.

We went 75% Obama in 2012.

Seems to me like it's down actually compared to 2012 if your numbers are correct.
ETA: guess the post work voting will increase it.

His point is that voter turnout is much higher in the afternoon and evenings, so if it's already at 111/hour, it'll only go way higher as people get off work.

From folks I know that have voted in the area (Louisville), almost everyone has had to stand in line. It's been at least since the late 90s that we've had that here. Stood in line with several people who brought their children and grandchildren and overheard at least one conversation about "teaching them the importance of voting". That's also something I haven't seen in a long time.
I think part of the turnout here is the reaction to the election of Gov. Bevin after just a 30% turnout statewide.

Also, he doesn't know how many of the 1,600 were early votes. Using 20% early vote, that means 98/hour on election day.

At the precinct I vote at.. in 2012, there were 2674 registered voters and 1988 voted for a 74% turnout. I voted at 9:30 this morning and when I was putting my ballot in the machine, there were 3 of them and almost 1200 votes had already been cast.

1600 votes total 2012
Which would have included both poll and mail in ballots
But without noing how many of each was each he assumed all were poll votes cast when he gave his number of 123/hr
He is already saying that this year they are doing 111/hr without having any data on who has already voted early or mail in.
So yes he is showing increased turnout

6.5 hours in. 673 votes. Trailing off, but veterans tell me the avalanche starts in 2 hours.
The also say the in-person voting has generally not exceeded 1,000, but not sure we are talking about the same thing.
I will know our results as soon as we close the machine. Romney was less than 25%. If Trump breaks 30, that is a good sign.
