Just told us they blacked topped her roads in the neighbor hood and put up a sign in everyone's drive that they could not drive on pavement for 24 hrs. She said there was no notice or email sent out about this. She had to walk to the gate and call a friend to come get her for work. Works at Disney World and AU grad. The people in neighborhood thinks it is to discourage voter turnout., unreal! We live here in Al and we are livid!

So they aren't supposed to leave their homes at all for 24 hours? That can't be right.

Asphalt doesn't have any specific time that it needs to sit like Concrete. There's no chemical reaction occurring. If it's cool to the touch, it's fine to drive on. I'm monitoring a paving operation while I type this.

I've never heard of that happening in my life. The road to my house was redone a couple weeks ago. It wasn't restricted at all.
