Conservatives vs liberals and the high school social structure

Is it fair to say that by and large conservatives were the in crowd, the jocks , the student council , the homecoming court.... And liberals were the nerds, the outcasts drama club, the kids that were meek and weak and bullied..? Is this why they are so angry?

That's partially true, although not all "nerds" are on the left. Gamers are probably more conservative and make up much of the alt-right crowd. Book nerds tended to be far left.
Also, it's now an "in" thing to be very socially liberal, so if you enter a modern high school now, the popular crowd is probably a bit more liberal.
The losers with the chain wallets and the doo-rags are all in on bernie.

When I went to undergrad the young republicans met on Friday night...because there was no threat any of them had a date. Bunch of goobers with their Rush Limbaugh books highlighted in different colors.

I played football in high school and the vast majority of the team were black. Something tells me they weren't all conservative

That may play a part in it, but their major behavioral problems stem from the severe mental illness known as Liberalism.

It's been three years since I've graduated high school, and I was a part of both groups. Your assessments are mostly fair, but where I come from (a conservative, rural town), half of us drama club kids were pretty dang conservative. Still, we had a vocal left-wing contingent.
About a month before the election, a large group of students from my old high school placed Trump signs and flags all along one of the main roads in the town. It was pretty awesome.

That's been my experience. I was the king and some of my friends were the beta cuckold type of nerds. In adult life they are STILL SJW types posting all that nonsense to FB. They all loved Obama and hate Trump.
I think a lot of it stems from personal inadequacies. They see life as unfair and this reflects in their political views.

What night did the young socialists meet? And what social group did u fall in in high school since thats the topic? And were you bullied? How did that mAke you feel? How did that shape the person youu are today?
