I like it! Lots of worthy call ups here

There are a few guys I'm annoyed with, but that's expected when it's a roster of 40

Let me guess..... Wondo? I know I am, but happy to see Dwyer with a call up

Wondo and Zusi, so just 2 guys really

Wondo, Zusi, and Zardes to begin with.

Zardes doesn't normally bother me, but his form probably doesn't warrant it. Wouldn't hate a U20 like de la torre or lennon getting that spot, but I'm sure their teams want them back

No reason we shouldn't cap-tie Jesse Gonzalez in our weakest group stage game. We need to develop a keeper for the future, and we can't let Mexico have him if he ends up being good.

Just for fun, I decided to see which teams have multiple representatives. Orlando City has 2, FC dallas has 3, Atlanta united has 2, DC has 2, New York City has 2, Sporting KC has 3, Toronto has 3, chicago has 2, philadelphia union has 3, seattle has 3, new england has 2.
Speaking of Zardes, I think I'd prefer finlay and nguyen, just as mls guys over him

Martinique would probably be the appropriate game for that

Saief has turned in the paperwork for the one time switch! That would tie him to the USMNT.

Looks like ESPN did a write up on him a few months ago. Seems like a solid get, a left footed playmaker with the versatility to play left back. Sounds like someone that would pair will with villafana

Dang neither Benny nor Sacha made the prelim roster?
That pretty much buries their USMNT careers.

Why no John Brooks?
I'd guess it's because he's changing clubs this summer

Looks like Bruce is really experimenting with defense... other than Miazga, everyone else is North American based.

And lichaj, but you're probably right. All goalies are mls too

Outside of Horvath, we don't have much of a choice.

For the US, this gold cup is meaningless unfortunately. Mexico will be playing in Russia
