My 7 year old is becoming more interested in the game and I wouldn't be mind using one myself. My old one with an electronic return got lost in the flood. Just wondering if anyone has a particular one they really enjoy.

I have had the same 9 foot long putting matt for 15 years - it has indicator lines for 3, 5 and 7 foot putts - and has a slight incline at the hole.

My kids have spent hours on that thing - and I need to spend more time on it.

I will say, when I did spend time on it 15 years ago, if I missed a green I always thought I would get up and down because that putting matt gave me a ton of confidence.

If realistic turf if priority, birdieball hands down. It's pricier though.

Not bad price. I may get one.

Those look tight. I need to putt 3-5 footers until my brain goes numb as a Pavlovian response to that distance. About to pull the trigger on a 3 hole (2x1) 4x8' standard.

Wondering if I need the stance mat, or if the contour shims add some good diversity and challenge.

You could probably slide a magazine or some cardboard pieces for contours.

I'm thinking longer and narrow may work better for me. Not sure.

Don't remember exact dimensions. But it is about 15 feet long by 3 or 4 feet wide. One hole on each end. Championship speed (or whatever they call the fastest one. You will love it.

I bought all the shims and pins and stuff too but you don't really need those, probly a waste of money.

Trust me when I tell you that I have over 25 hours of research easily into this over the last 2 years if you're trying to stay cost-effective the best one hands down is going to be big moss putting green it's unbelievable for the price if you want to spend some real money on it then Pro putt systems is what a lot of colleges and Pros use for their outdoor material or indoor greens I own both and I will tell you that if you have 3K laying around then Pro putt is the way to go
