Who is responsible for firing Sunil?

Who does he report to? Does the US have a board of directors that make the hiring and firing decisions?
He should have been fired on the flight back to the US. Same goes for Bruce and his arrogance.

He is an elected official up for reelection in March, I believe. If he had any self awareness, he'd finish his term and just not throw his hat in the ring again. Or resign now and just be a Columbia professor full time. Or commit seppuku as has been suggested in other threads.

i'm not very well versed in the duties and politics that take place within the USSF, but there are elections that are held, next one is in February. Gulati, hasn't announced that he's running for re-election as of now, and hopefully doesn't.
Would love to hear from others with more knowledge on the subject, and what names they'd like to see thrown into the mix. As far as I know Gulati ran unopposed last election.

September 29th episode of total soccer show has a discussion with noah davis about Sunil Gulati. I believe they sort of laid out the power structure.
