Gimme some horror movies that will scare a 10-year old

This past weekend, my daughter wanted to watch some scary movies with me, but I didn't want to traumatize her TOO much, so I chose Pet Semetary and Night Of The Living Dead: two movies that probably won't scare many adults in 2017, but might be just scary enough for a kid. Turns out, she just rolled her eyes over both flicks, and has gotten a little cocky about it, LOL....
SO, please post some movies that oughta scare the crap out of her. A couple of stipulations, though:
1. NO "sentimental" picks. Yes, we might've been scared when we saw something like The Exorcist or Alien as a kid, but I doubt it'd have the same impact with a first-timer in 2017. Not saying there isn't an older movie that could do the trick, but try not making a pick with nostalgia-tinted glasses...
2. Since she's 10 and my daughter, I'd prefer if it's a movie that's not "rapey" or overly sexual. I'm accepting her challenge to scare her, not to scar her for life, lol...

Ernest Scared Stupid. I grew up on Ernest P. Worrell and that movie still makes me laugh.
Edit: I see you're really trying to scare the poor child. Go with one of the creature features that snatches kids for being jerks. I mean, The Exorcist and Silence of the Lambs scared me shitless when I was around 8-9 years old, but there's newer horror films like The Ring or The Conjuring which might scare her with better special effects.

I might not rule out The Exorcist...but I have a gut feeling she's gonna laugh more than be freaked out. I mean, Pet Sematary and Night Of The Living Dead had some unsettling moments once upon a time too, but after talking with some folks after the fact, most of 'em seem to be able to shrug it off when watching it nowadays...

Whatever you pick, make one rule: no phones. My wife is the queen of saying a movie isn't scary because she picked up her phone every time something scary happened.
My suggestions:
Candyman
The Ring
The Strangers
The Babadook
I also think Pet Semetary is a great call. If Zelda doesn't scare a 10 year old, then you've got one tough daughter!

I'm surprised Pet Sematary didn't get to her. Just last year, she talked the talk before entering a Halloween haunted house with me, then 5 minutes in she begged to leave early b/c she was getting pretty freaked out...I was like "sorry, I just paid $25 for your ticket, so there's no turning back now", lol... indeed, she's toughened up since then!

For real! I’m still traumatized by Zelda. Scared the crap out of me as a kid.
Nightmare on Elm Street? Might be too sexual, but Freddy Krueger was incredibly scary to me as a kid, and gave our 8-9 year old nightmares when she watched part of it last summer. We still aren’t allowed to say his name around her.

Both Conjuring movies are scary as hell. Might be too much for a 10 year old.
