Greg The Leg is an RB1, a WR1, a QB2, and a top-3 TE. UPDATED

Stolen from Reddit. Just thought it was fun.
UPDATED

Obviously scoring methods differ, but in my ESPN 12-team full PPR league, Leg Zuerlien's is averaging 14.3 points per game That's better than the #11 RB, the #11 WR, the #3 TE, and the #24 QB. On pace to break (annihilate) Tomlinson's NFL single-season record of 186 points.
The point? None except that Gurley and Goff's exceptional seasons are somewhat overshadowing his own, and that I might have a tough decision to make in round 8-ish next year.
UPDATED
quote:
Greg Zuerlein has scored 165 points with a 13.8 ppg average. There are only 11 non-QB players who have scored more points.
In 1/2 PPR, he has outscored the following players:
* AJ Green - 164.6
* Leonard Fournette - 162.2
* Travis Kelce - 160.8
* Julio Jones - 159.8
* Larry Fitzgerald - 158.8
* Adam Thielen - 157.7
* Rob Gronkowski - 154.4
* Marvin Jones, Jr. - 154.1
* Lamar Miller - 153.5
* Brandin Cooks - 149.7
This guy has been killing it week in week out.
~~Great to have a 13.8 ppg floor from your kicker.~~ EDIT: I get it, average is not a floor. Median is a more meaningful number for me, and Greg Zuerlein's median points scored is 17.

Fun to look at for sure, but a lot are going to misinterpret what it means.

Would totally trade Mike Evans for him.

The guy who wrote the post on reddit has the right idea. But he’s only comparing average points across positions. The real value is his points above replacement. Outscoring the opponent at one position by 4 points every week will win you a lot of games. It’s like having Gronk most years, he usually scores far more per game than the competition

My main point in the last thread was not that kickers arent important. My point was that there are usually 3-5 comparable guys and it applies even with the Gronk argument.
Now obviously you always want the no.1 guy but most drafts don't fall that way.
I always prioritize grabbing a top notch kicker and always have one. This year I have Phillys Kicker...so yes a Mike Evans trade seems extremely stupid for me.
If you are one of those types who waited and invested in a dog shite offense or Dan Bailey...he may be benficial to you.
At the end of the day it is hard for me to wrap my head around taking that big of a loss off a 2nd round selection.
I get the value point system and head to head spread at position but there was an opportunity if you were proactive earlier in the year IMO to grab a nice K for free and you probably missed it.

When he is inevitably overdrafted next year and settles back to the mean he will be the most hated fantasy kicker. Such is the life of the Lonesome Kicker.

Kickers aren't important.

They are when they average 14 ppg
Posted on 11/13/17 at 4:50 pm to Byron Bojangles III
Not if you are valuing them over a top 10 WR in your flex.

But that wasn't the argument I was replying to

I’m taking Jeff Heath first round next year.

Yeah, but that's what the whole discussion was the other day. And it's basically why there are 3 threads on GZ on here right now.

We wouldn't be talking about it if there wasn't any substance to it. Not everyone agrees, not even close, but the man keeps putting up value

I mean, there's people still saying the earth is flat, doesn't mean there's any substance to it.
