What does this mean for Nola? I believe my area of Nola was the only district that didn't vote for her. Can Cantrell be any worse than Mitch? I wasn't crazy about either candidate and don't expect much from Cantrell outside of tax increases.

Cantrell is going to awesome. She’ll continue to move New Orleans in the right direction just like her predecessor.

Hard to believe she got elected. Will she be able to serve as mayor in jail?

She wants rent control.

So she’s about to destroy what’s left of this city.

In her defense, she could probably accomplish the same amount as Mitch has while she is in jail.

This city would probably re-elect her when she made it out of jail anyway.

Don't mind me. I'm just sitting here in Lafayette watching the fireworks.

New Orleans just went from stinking to literally getting a turd in office. And that’s not saying a whole lot considering that mitch is already considered a turd.

It's nice to see that the voters have looked past corruption to vote a retard into office.

What's with all the corruption and jail talk? (for those of us not familiar with her)

Is she actually corrupt?

Those in the know of some major fiscal, structural or other operational bomb about to go off in Nola hence such a poor field of candidates.

Godspeed.

Based on the diversity at her campaign party she looks to be very inclusive. We’re fricked!
