...But the other revelatory part of Williams’ quote — that production wraps in December — runs contrary to what we’ve been hearing. Filming is expected to wrap at the end of summer, likely end of July or early August. Star Peter Dinklage has recently been quoted as saying they’re halfway finished shooting. So take the Metro‘s quotes with a grain of salt. HBO, naturally, isn’t commenting.

So, GRRM is turning 70 in Sept and looks like an 80 year old.
There is no way in holy hell that he finishes the series if he's not doing 6 and 7 at the same time like a few desperate fans have stated.
