Maybe i missed something, but i thought he had parted ways with LSU even after the Tennessee deal fell through. He is still listed on staff though?

Ponamsky hasn't had time to update the site in between making TD.com alters.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he wiggles his way back after signing day

Nope, he did not return. That is just his bio. Most schools don't take them down. Here is the list of coaches and admin for football.

Anyone going to elaborate on these tactics or just continue to quote each other like they all know the secret info?

I would think it’s bad news for LSU if he ends up at another SEC school.

The latest thing that people were upset about has to do with Badara Traore.

1. Badara - the #1 JUCO OT committed to LSU on Dec 7th. Right after that Thomas accepted a position at Tennessee. On Dec 17th Badara visited Tennessee. People thought that was a direct result of Thomas. Unlike Grimes who knew he was going to BYU but still recruiting and selling recruits on LSU, it was viewed as Thomas trying to steal LSU commits for UT.

2. He left LSU for what was viewed a lateral move to join the UT staff. LSU had made him only the 2nd general manager in college football and this was his big "thank you" in return.

3. Leaving for Tennessee was the second time he had left LSU for another opportunity. Both - USC and UT - were viewed as lateral moves for him. It seems like he wanted out of LSU at all costs - even not knowing what his job responsibilities would be at UT and ultimately being unemployed because of it.

Definitely, no one can operate a fax machine or schedule recruit's visits like the GREAT Austin Thomas.

LSU's fax machine has been out of toner for over a month now.

Blame this on Geritol Pete. He was back at the office while Thomas was on the recruiting trail.

It is more than worth it then.

"One of the main reasons Fehoko came to LSU was to hone his technique under the mentorship of D-line guru Pete Jenkins and he was able to do just that last season. The word we’re getting is that Jenkins’ mentorship paid big dividends in Fehoko’s development."
