Yankees payroll lowest since 2003

Rank 7th in MLB which is lowest since 1992

Average salary will be about the same as last year

Dodgers went from 270 mil in 2015 opening day to 183 mil in 2018

It is kind of sad how none of these articles actually give a full ranking of MLB payrolls. It is so lazy.

Giants are 2nd at $203m and most of those guys are 30+, AND they have Madbum’s contract coming up, to go along with a shitty farm system.

They’re fricked

They are 300% ALL IN

They fail, it's super lean years for a good 6-8 years.

his season is probably sunk already with the injuries to Mad Bum and Samardzija, they were gonna be a WC at best team who would sneak in and those two being out might cost them games early on that will bite them in the arse at the end

I honestly think they should consider trading Madison. The return should speed up the rebuild process. I doubt they’ll have the balls to do that though.
