5-0-3 record. Even a Euro team can't beat another Euro team!
Probably ends with Switzerland, though.
One good thing about expanding to 48--sides like Italy and Netherlands have a better chance of qualifying.

I know you mean but it sounds funny sayng "sides like" when referring to Italy and Netherlands.
Would rather take my chances the old way then being in a system where you can play only 2 games and be on your way home.

Netherlands have been poor for a few years now.
It wasn't a huge surprise that they didn't qualify.
Still against the WC expansion for now. (I enjoyed the Euros expansion for what it's worth)

The extra 16 places don’t all go to UEFA, there are some terrible teams in the tournament as it is.
Expanding the tournament by 50% dilutes the quality. The Euros was bad enough with teams playing for draws to finish third in their group, I don’t need to see Germany pound Iran and Honduras in the new group stages.
