First year in a long time without legit return man?

LSU has had so many great ones over the years. Does anyone get the TM7 or OBJ feeling on returns this year. We look safe, but have no threat to change a game with one return. Teams will not kick away from our return man.

Sure but you could say the same thing about Tyrann up until Akransas.

Exactly. He’s shown steady hands so far and he’s averaging over 15yds per return whenever he’s had a chance. That’s a pretty good clip, especially when you consider he hasn’t broken a big one to skew his numbers.

Catching punts is about all he does well.

He was averaging like 20 yards a return before Auburn game.

Well, we do have one of those guys on the roster. Chase would be an excellent return man that can bust open the big one. O trust the sure handed Giles to not lose the game back there than to have someone that could possibly help win a game back there. Can't say I disagree. Hopefully we can get a large lead where some other guys can get a chance.

Giles has 3 returns in 3 games. 22, 20 and 4 yards for a total of 46 yards 15.3 YPR no TDs
OBJ averaged 9 yards per return in 67 returns with 2 touchdowns. 1st 3 returns, 24 yards total 8 YPR no TDs returns of 0, 10, and 14.
TM7 a bit better 17.2 YPR in 25 returns also with 2 TDs. First 3 returns 11, 0 , 15 for 26 yards total 8.67 YPR no TDS
Giles is doing just fine, lets give him a chance and see how he does.

Giles has looked good. Hasnt even bobbled a punt. Hasnt made bad decisions. Has made decent returns when he has had the chance. Anybody who is asking for someone else back there is moronic and cant remember how scary it has been just watching LSU catch a punt since before tre white.

I'd enjoy seeing Kary Vincent given a shot. Hes probably the fastest guy on the team.
