Rams worries (playoffs)

Anyone else worried about the Rams clinching early and McVay benching starters?
Our playoffs run wk14-16. I'm already 7-0 with Gurley leading me there. Contemplating if I should look into trading him though to not bottom out come playoff time.
Thoughts?

It's a valid concern but it's too early in the year to think like that. If it's getting to be week 11-12 and they're still way in front, maybe it's a thought. But not yet.

That's exactly when our trade deadline is, so I'm just trying to get some possible scenarios laid out. Gut reaction right now is to ride and die with who has got me this far, but like you said, lot of football left to play.

They benched everyone last year in week 17. Unless your league still plays that week I would not worry about it

Shouldn’t be an issue weeks 14-15. Maybe 16 but I doubt it. 17 yes but most leagues are moving away from playoffs in week 17
And Gurley is way too important to most teams to try to move him just bc he might get benched

Yup I’d trade Gurley at peak value. Might even be able to get Peyton Barber for him if you act fast.

I wouldn't worry about this at all until the Saints game.
Their next four games are the Packers, Saints, Seahawks and Chiefs.
Most likely going to be a race down the stretch and I'd be surprised if they've clinched before week 16. Week 17, maybe. But your FF season should be over by then

I think that you're overthinking it. Gurley is untradeable. You need to keep him for the best chance to make it to the champ game. You aren't there yet.

I cannot see any team benching their starters Week 16 and having no live action for 3 full weeks before the divisional round.
