Tebow Preaching on First Take about White

He was legitimately angry about White, said multiple times it’s a joke and ridiculous.
Here’s my attempt at transcribing it, not perfect but pretty close:
Max thank you so much for bringing it up, it’s so ridiculous, it truly is, I mean I do think that we need to take care of players, and so we should have fouls for when players are truly trying to hurt someone else, and truly going to the head or neck area, he barely touched him with his facemask, you could see he was trying to pull off. He is the second best player on the field, it’s Tua Tagovailoa and Devin White, by far, he is the best linebacker in the country in my opinion, he goes sideline to sideline, he’s the tone setter.
And pretty much what the refs said, is hey, LSU we’re taking out your best player, good luck against Alabama. It’s ridiculous. I don’t think refs should have that responsibility and I think either the SEC commissioner should come in, the NCAA should come in and let Devin play because you are truly changing the season for LSU and for Alabama by not letting him play.
I think it’s ridiculous and the NCAA should step in. It’s a stupid rule. That’s their best player. He’s their tone setter. He is their leader. In a day and age when there aren’t a lot of great leaders in college football, Devin White is a leader, they follow him, they want to run with him, they want to bleed with him, they want to play with him, and you’re taking away him because he touched Nick Fitzgerald’s neck?
Are you kidding me? It’s a joke. And we need to understand when someone is truly trying to hurt someone and penalize them for that. But when they just touch them and they’re trying to pull off we need to understand that. Refs gotta be better with that. It’s ridiculous.

Good. Tebow knows. The Devin White SEC Fix was the trigger mechanism that finally exposed the collusion. Pollack is pissed, Herbie pissed. Hell the CBS sports guys are too .

LSU V Alabama is more nationally relevant than Texas/Oklahoma, USC/Notre Dame and even Michigan/Ohio State.
I think we can objectively say that LSU v Alabama is the biggest rivalry in college football right now.
As soon as LSU beat Moo State, LSU v Alabama became the clear-cut "game of the year."
The Devin White story isn't going away. I suspect it will get ramped up even further next week and become a major storyline for the national press leading up to the game.
Don't be surprised if the 'Bama bias' stuff gets used as motivation @ Alabama, with Saban telling his players they're being deligimtized, BTW.

I'll make sure to call him and leave him a voicemail thanking him. I think I still have his number around here somewhere...

Interested if Reece "The Gump" Davis will allow GameDay to talk about it this Saturday or will they continue to bash UCF.

Either way I've got a golfball with his name on it!

I disagree, michigan and ohio state have been more relevant lately. Also, historically that rivalry is far more relevant than lsu/bama.

I’m trying to find a video to post of it, no luck so far.

They may not have any choice but to talk about it once they see the #FreeDevinWhite banner in the Jacksonville sky.

I hate Florida but Tebow is a player's player and he will probably always have my respect when he puts in his two cents

It’s on Watch ESPN First Take at the 1:17 Mark, I tried to transcribe it in the OP

Having guys like Tebow speak on the subject on a national stage is exactly what's needed to fix that stupid rule.
