Will it make it pass the house?
Im all for the second amendment.. But this seems like an issue that cant be fixed with the loons going in public places and shooting innocent people UNLESS there are armed employees at places like this or any place??
What can we as a country do?

Not take away God given rights from law abiding citizens?

Imement cruel & unusual punishment for these kinds of crimes.

Not a chance in hell. That would be a 100% guarantee for the House to go back to the R's in 2020.

Most of the time these perps kill themselves before they are served justice.

criminals will always be criminals....no law will stop them from doing what's wrong. laws only punish the innocent.

Will be the death of the Democrat Party if they go down this path. All too easy for the Sky Screamers...All too predictable.

Not much of anything. It is a spiritual problem.

At what point in the situation do they usually kill themselves?

Why should we do anything? Mass shootings are statistically insignificant compared to other fatalities in this country.
You have a better chance being killed by a shark.

I’ll go down killing people before I give up my right to kill people.

Probably not. Lots of blue reps in red states.

Go ahead and enact all the regulations you want. It won't stop criminals from getting guns. It only stops law abiding citizens from acquiring proper protection from law breakers.

Have better family structures that focus on family and education. We always want to put the responsibility of teaching people on the government. The burden should be on family and community to effectively police itself. Social contracts within local communities should be doing this, but go back to point 1 about family and education.

I must've missed that part in the Bill of Rights.

Not sure why you are getting downvoted. Your point is correct in that we do need more armed personnel in public and private places to defend against pussies like this shooter.
And yes, the Dems will try to push gun control legislation. It'll be nothing more than grandstanding, because it will never go anywhere past the house.
