Ultima is still amazing

Still an incredible series of games. I am playing Ultima 1 right now and it's horrid graphics are endearing to me as an old guy.

Ultima IV is still the best in the series.
I remember trying to kill the king from a boat. I had 4 characters doing major damage to him every round, and after 2 hours i finally quit. He wasn't dying.

Update: Ultima 2 and 3 require WAYYYY too much bullshite with characters, parties, etc. I moved on to Ultima IV and it's money. I'll play this one.

Watch out for the poison traps and the poison bushes(???).
shite will kill you quickly, as you try to get back to a castle or village to see a healer.

Had Ultima 3 on NES as a kid. Finally beat it with a walkthrough as an adult. I don't see how it was possible without the internet
