Has there ever been a more dislikable recruit than Sopsher?

From the glazed over dead eyed look on his face that all future Alabama commits tend to have, to the ridiculous demands of taking his brother who is literally not enrolled in school, to the petty, shitty remarks made about LSU throughout the process by himself and his dad, to the fact that he was plummeting in the rankings and still acting like he was worth two scholarships, he has to be my all-time least favorite recruit.
I normally try to keep things in perspective with recruits but holy shite that was one annoying kid from start to finish. Good riddance, it would’ve been realllllly hard to support him for 1/2/3/4 years, however long he lasts in college, after that bullshite recruiting process

The one recruit he reminds me of is in a different sport, but it's Tony Parker the fat center who from Atlanta who went to play basketball at UCLA. His hour long announcement ceremony is still famous in basketball recruiting circles, as are all of his demands and expectations. He went on to average 2 points per game as a freshman.
He ended up becoming a serviceable player by his senior year and now plays basketball in Mexico.

Surtain by far. Dude was committed to LSU forever and then switched at the last second.

I would say Surtain was far worse than Sopsher. Everyone was sure about Surtain coming to LSU. To Sopher's credit, Bama always seemed like his preferred landing spot and the staff were working on other options going into signing day (they didn't work out but that was different than Surtain). Surtain fricked us.

I would imagine the most hated recruits on this site would be
Landon Collins, Gerald Willis, Tony Brown, Hootie Jones (for trying to sabotage the Jamal Adams recruitment), Joe McKnight (not now, but at the time of his commitment), Dylan Moses, Ish Sopsher, Speedy Noil, Patrick Surtain Jr., and maybe Marvin Wilson.
