You don't see that in St. George's Sherwood.

Is the area becoming more Hispanic? Some culcha and some Espanol? Isn't this Broome's dream?

Once St George happens, we'll call that area "the land beyond the wall".

If she's being honest I don't think her dream includes Hispanish.

North Sherwood has been gone for 15+ years

It's a bit of a mix black and Hispanic and a few blocks farther east Vietnamese.

Let's rewind to say 1990. What was North Sherwood like then?

Ever since they got rid of those big red mountains it's all gone downhill.

It was much better in the 90s but starting to decline. We used to shop at that Albertsons quite often.
It's all of those shitty apartments that ruined the area. Just like Blvd de Province spillover has caused Sherwood between Old Hammond and I-12 to decline

Yep...Apartments. Stop building them. Look over at Mayfair on Hyacinth. Whatever that big mass of buildings going up is...I do not like the looks of it.

It's interesting to watch the gas stations in these areas. That one on the corner of Choctaw and Sherwood looks like it should be in Tijuana. The ones on Sherwood just north of I12 have gotten really bad also.

One of my girlfriends back in 2002-2003 lived off Sherwood near that Podnah's. How's that area now? We used to sit outside and goof off all night -- a few of us. I bet it's different circumstances now.

I think south of the interstate is still ok but I don’t go that way much anymore.

Looks like the Belaire area, which is weird, because Papa John's wouldn't even deliver there during the '90s.
