Why do all of the democrat 2020 POTUS contenders only do townhalls on CNN?

Imgine if all 16 R's in 2016 only did them on Fox?
Could it be because CNN is the DNC 100% now and MSNBC is 95% DNC?

Corey Booker couldn't dap up Don Lemon if it was on MSNBC or Fox

Because they have to kiss the ring of their overlord

CNN is likely looking at ratings as an early indicator of who they should support

Isn't Bern going to do one on Fox?

Supposedly the changes like adding Brazille was a strategy to encourage the DNC to prove we are fair and balanced to gain support for the primary debates.
That being said... It's a dumb strategy by Breitbart. This radical DNC shift will never allow a media company that's center or to the right to depose their candidates.

Because they leak the questions to them beforehand.

Maybe because the sitting President is a Republican and there is a growing list of Democratic candidates vying for the nomination?
Not that hard to figure out.

it could have something to do with the softball questions they know CNN will toss? Liberals are cowards and will not be blindsided by a real journalist asking real questions

They will absolutely be the driver of who gets nominated. They are essentially the muscle of the left. My only question is who has more power, the DNC or CNN?

they are one in the same CNN/DNC.
I just saw the third party guy is doing a townhall on Fox with Bret tonight.

Because no Hannity. that's reason enough. Why let a dumbass tool like him near the debates, even if it's just in the same building.

because no one else has a full time paid audience on the payroll they can call up to fill a studio and cheer, or boo, on command.
if they depended on a real public audience no one would be there

That post was not intended to be entirely serious. Bu Hannity is an obnoxious, dim and unfunny loud mouthed comedian. Eho wastes broadcast time appealing to the lowest common denominator.
