America, through capitalism and free enterprise, have been nearly solely responsible for the greatest increase in quality of life, individual net worth, medical care, transportation and communication that the world has ever seen in such a short time span. Not only that, we’ve been benevolent enough to all the rest of the coattail riders in the rest of the world to benefit from our greatness.

The very fact they can say the above and not face government consequence now and in the past is what makes America the greatest country in history. No other country has just one freedom outlined in the 1st amendment alone.
These rights are said to be God-given. By doing so these rights can never be infringed. They didn't come from a President, King or emperor. They came from a power above all. So even if you are an atheist or whatever these rights apply to all American citizens.

Not to mention we went to the aid of the world in 2 World Wars and broke the Soviet Union in the Cold War, and have shed our blood for others across the world when called again and again in the cause of freedom
