Feel your pain. Benched him in 3 leagues.

You felt strongly enough to draft him on 5 of your teams but did not start him anywhere ?

He’s a bench player, who drafted Watkins as a starter? Hopefully no one. I started Gordon over him in 2 leagues.

Annnd he was going against the best CB duo in the league. I threw out the :( but hindsight is 20/20, and I considered starting him but the matchup scared me.

I drafted him.
But I had him on my bench.
50 point net loss.

Playing against him. So starting 0-1

Start him next week and enjoy your 3 points.
Although if Hill stays out maybe you will have won the lottery.

You have to play him when he’s healthy. He’s going to miss 12 games at some point

19.5 PPG over his last 16 games with 7+ targets. Fire em up

HAVE to play him when healthy? Moving forward that may be the case, but over the past 2 years he’s been anything but a must start, even when healthy.
I made it a point to draft him in every league, so I’m giddy seeing him have a good game in a tough matchup. He will bump Josh Gordon out in a few leagues, will be tough to slide him in others. With Mixon likely out in a few leagues, that’ll be his spot

Watkins is going to piss everyone off this week by chilling on their bench, and piss everyone off next week because they will chase week 1’s points

With Tyreke being out, he should still produce.

I’m hoping this year is different. Last year was his first year in KC and he was dealing with injuries throughout the season.
Dude is only 26 years old and imo a legit WR talent. IF healthy, he’s got some major upside.

I’m a Watkins truther, my man.

I think I'm going to start drafting him every year from now on and trade him after his big week.

No WR in the NFL gets open on more % of their targets than Sam Watkins. Just so happens Kelce and Hill demand 300 targets a year with another 100 going to RBs. Stay healthy young man

He sat on my bench, and fricked up my whole Sunday
And I fully expect to start him next week and watch him put up 4 pts
