as Philadelphia ranks in the bottom-third in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game, passing touchdowns allowed, and net-yards-per-attempt allowed. The Eagles pass-rush has failed to make a consistent impact in 2019 following a pair of injuries on the interior. Malik Jackson and Timmy Jernigan, two of the team's top three defensive tackles, both went down with injuries over the team's first two games, and neither will be returning to action for quite some time. In their absence, Hassan Ridgeway and Akeem Spence have failed to disrupt the pocket whatsoever. Without an impactful pass rush, the shortcomings in Philadelphia's secondary have been magnified. An already-struggling unit will enter Thursday night's game even weaker. Starting cornerback Ronald Darby is expected to miss a few games due to a hamstring injury. Darby had not performed well in the opening weeks of the season, but his replacement, Rasul Douglas, has not been any better. Philadelphia's pass defense has been miserable to start the 2019 season, allowing 4 different 100+ yard receivers through just 3 games. A matchup against Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, one of the league's best quarterback-wide receiver duos, will offer no reprieve for a reeling pass defense.

Eagles as a unit giving up almost 48 a game to WRs.
Mclaurin got em for 24
Ridley got em for 25, Julio got em for 27
Marvin Jones got em for 23

WRs vs. Eagles in 2019: – Week 1: Terry McLaurin 5/125/1 – Week 2: Julio Jones 5/106/2, Calvin Ridley 8/105/1 – Week 3: Marvin Jones 6/101/1 CB Ronald Darby likely out. Oh, and Rodgers wants more targets for 17.

Didn’t someone post something last week about how points are typically lower on Thursday night games?
Always seems like there isn’t enough time to game plan and teams always go to some random 5th WR who isn’t banged up from four days ago.

Think MVS eats tonight as well? Thinking of rolling with him over Diggs or Gordon in PPR.

I wanna say that QBs are statistically likely to produce lower than normal points on Thursday nights. I guess that it could have somewhat of a trickle-down effect on WRs too. Think RBs are usually good though.

Do ya'll think this GB passing D is legit? They're top 2 against fantasy WRs in most formats. But they've faced Chicago (Trubisky sucks), Minnesota (they hate passing), and Denver (Flacco sucks). I think their CB Alexander is a stud, but if he's on Alshon, I was considering trotting Agholor out there.
Also think Sanders could break out a bit in this game. His touches and efficiency have trended upwards every week and GB is 30th against RBs so far
And here's to LeFleur knocking off his stupid "I want to get my less talented RB more touches" crap. Aaron Jones is your workhorse, just embrace it

Going against the experts. Starting Alshon over McLaurin
