Wife decided to hand wash her car for the first time. Ever. -UPDATE

Used a scouring pad to, “get the bugs off”. She had no clue the repercussions of her actions to the paint. It’s bad. Real bad.
Update: this is all I have. I already used some compound and wax to try and help it. Sorry for no before/after. Hard to tell in these pics with the color of the paint which I guess is a good thing.

Friend of mine in high school waxed his car with furniture wax. Looked like shite for years.
My wife hand washes her car weekly and always have. I run through Geaux Clean.

We bought a $4500 range and my wife cleaned it the first time with a scotch brite pad. Scratched the shite out of it. She said ‘it’s stainless, right?’ Yea but not scratchless.
