WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Pentagon said on Tuesday that it was unable to share documents with the House of Representative committee pursuing an impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump, citing “legal and practical concerns.”
In a letter seen by Reuters, the Pentagon said the House of Representatives did not have a resolution authorizing an impeachment investigation, adding that it could not produce documents in the eight days it was given to comply with the subpoena.
“The Department is unable to comply with your request for documents at this time. Nevertheless, the Department respects the oversight role of the appropriate committees of Congress, and stands ready to work with your committees should there be an appropriate resolution of this matter,” the letter said.

Pence told Schiff for brains to EABODs as well.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Vice President Mike Pence declined on Tuesday to submit documents to the House of Representative committees pursuing an impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump, his office said, calling the probe “self-proclaimed” and the requests for information too broad.
Pence’s counsel, Matthew Morgan, said in a letter to three Democratic lawmakers that the scope of documents requested included some “which are clearly not vice-presidential records.”
Morgan said Pence’s office was prepared to work with the committees if they “wish to return to the regular order of legitimate legislative oversight requests, and the Committees have appropriate requests for information solely in the custody of the Office of the Vice President.”

Morgan’s letter went over many of the same concerns the White House counsel outlined last week in a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. “As detailed in the White House Counsel Letter, the House of Representatives has not authorized any ‘impeachment inquiry,’” it said.

I find it absolutely hilarious that Nancy Pelosi 100% has to own something she wants no part of.

Muh Coverup. Muh more Impeachement Articles. Muh more bulls*$%^&^&!
Not a single Republican should show up for one of those Committees. I guess being able to ask questions is worth something, for the Record, in the event it is finally made public - but I think that the overt disrespect for the rogue Dems would be more politically potent for now. Let em' own it.

But Mickey Goldmil said it was perfectly legal and constitutional for a handful of partisan dems to launch a house impeachment inquiry into the POTUS without consent of the House?!?!!!?

So when the legislative branch fails to legislate there is no compelling reason to act.
No teeth. No bite. Nothing.

Good. This shite needs to be stopped in its tracks. It seems to me the Dems are always trying new ways to govern, think of Harry Reid, in order to get a leg up on the Reps. It's setting a very bad precedent for future congresses to come, i.e., if we don't like something about what the other side is doing let's just tie them up in court. Yeah, that's really getting a lot accomplished for the folks of this country.

Mickey also said the Schiff will take the executive branch to civil court to enforce these strongly worded faux subpoenas.
The executive branch welcomes this fight in civil court. Be careful for what you ask for.

If that guy is an example of what LSU Law School is cranking out these days, I truly weep for my alma mater.
