Sounds plausible. Don't know about the timeline. In order to come true the effort for a second special counsel needs to start in earnest by October 22.

It's plausible but if Barr doesnt step aside like Sessions did I dont know how effective a 2nd special counsel would be.

1) Barr, himself, appoint a Special Counsel, or
2) Barr recuse and the Acting AG appoint a Special Counsel?
I don't see Barr doing either of those.

There are currently no regs on the books and the entire SC scam is guided by guidance documents. That would tend to make it less cut and dry than in the past.

The SC has to come for either the AG of Deputy AG. Doubt that is going to happen.

That is how most people read the current guidance. While I put no stock in the Anons, it wouldn't surprise me if House Dems claimed they had authority to appointment a SC
