I know he has 20 mill in bets on HOU BUT do we know how much of that he will have to use to refund his customers?

Good question..my guess is that he’s better off if they lose...but he may have sold an incremental number of mattresses to make it worth it.

He had the necessary info to make sure either outcome yielded the same profit if he wanted. Whether he got that precise or not, he's making money either way.

He was on AFR today. Basically he’s bet about $10MM to win $19MM. He says the 2017 promo netted about $13MM in sales he had to eat and their numbers have been better this year for the promo.
So regardless of outcome, he’s basically breaking even. But the real value is the insane amount of free press he’s gotten off of this.

Rovell article today said taking in to account only the bets and the furniture sold he would come out slightly better if Nats won but obviously tons of good press and good press either way and I’m sure he’s cheering hard for Astros.

He has done this before with the Astros and price of Oil. So he knows what he his doing. Word is he takes out an insurance policy if he has to give away free furniture. But I can’t confirm.
He was still running the promotion into the ALCS so he must be doing okay. He could have pulled it at any time.
