Keep Aranda: LSU DL to Improve in 2020 because Help is on the way!!!

Just like our offense last season needed a better OL to protect Burrow. The DL needs upgrading to better rush the passer and stop the run with just 4 DL. Help is coming, and next season Aranda's defensive struggles from 2019 will be an after thought.

I'm sorry to inform anybody who is dumb enough to think Aranda should be replaced, he is very far from even being on the hot seat. The defense would have to get worse next season, and then worse again the next before it's even up for debate.

Most have been fighting through injuries. Quality depth is an issue.

Aranda isn’t going anywhere (I hope), but you are WAY wrong about our DL getting better next year. Those freshmen are not going to be good next year. We have not had a freshmen defensive, or offensive, linemen come in and produce at a high SEC level in a decade at least.

I mean, we're 11-0. We shouldn't fire anybody right now. Our defense was good against Bama outside of a few boneheaded alignments. Otherwise they played them as well as anyone guarded Tua, Ruggs, Jeudy, Smith, etc.

The OL got better bc of experience and scheme.
DA isn’t being replaced but what does it say about his scheme when in order to field a great defense we have to have elite DL? We have pretty damn good DL now. Who is to say the scheme makes them look like they aren’t elite?
Last year the excuse was we are missing Chaisson. Well he hasn’t done much. At some point the coach needs to be questioned. A defensive genius needs to adapt to what he has on the field...idk why so many fans don’t think highly enough of DA to expect him to adjust and field a great defense.

Our issues on defense are with the dline, need more and better big uglies, O failed to recruit this position unfortunately during his tenure as dline coach and recruiting coordinator. This has got to be fixed.

True freshmen linemen that have no SEC experience or development and haven’t even been in the strength and conditioning program yet aren’t going to make any significant impact next year. Good grief.

Aranda wasn’t going anywhere to start with. There are a few on here that want him going have an axe to grind with him for whatever reason

What the hell else talent do we need? Y’all need to stop making excuses for Dave. That’s bullshite. He has the tools in the chest, he’s just not getting it done.

God forbid people actually hold Aranda accountable for the shite product he’s put out starting late last year and all this year.
