The SEC West will be in an interestin postiion next season with no real defined QB stars returning. Barring a big time grad transfer altering the landscape everyone will have starters with one year or no starting experience which may lead to inconsistencey from week to week. Clearly this season Burow, Tua and mond have been teh class of the West and also the SEC. Going into the season based upon the current rosters they would rank as follows:

Nix AU- started as a freshman, likely to make big leap
Mac jones BAMA -Getting valuable starting experience
Brennan LSU - can he finally live up to potential
Calzada A&M - assuming Mond goe to NFL
Corral / Plumlee OM - Can Plumlee develop passing game
Schrader MSU - experienced , could develop and move up
Jerry Jone grandson ? AR - who knows

There will no doubt be movement up and down as players develop at different rates and incoming freshmen or transfers affect the rankingss.

Would not be surprised to see Nick grab a grad transfer.
Brennan will be key to LSU continuing to reamin a playoff contender. Not a Burrow, could mimic Hodson.
Nix could propel Auburn into contention or could be one more Aubie with poential who never quite gets there .
Plumlee will be scary if he can complete 60% passes.

Little Tua or Bryce Young could start at Bama.

Mond isn’t a sure thing to leave early.

Bo Nix will be better next year.

I think the QBs will be better than you think.

People do make dumb decisions but no way he should leave early

Finally? What does that mean?

He comes in to a game when things are in hand and has 2nd stringers surrounding him..including WRs who aren’t running proper routes or dropping passes. We’re also not calling plays as if the game was still in doubt. No situation where Brennan has been brought in (including who he’s playing with), has been even close to normal. He deserves the benefit of the doubt..even though I think he’s done great regardless.

No doubt some will step up. Good potential but a lot of unknowns throughout the division.

Didn't mean it negatively. Just finally gets his chance to start and play in a noraml situation. With his maturiy and the LSU systen he may rise to the top of the division and even the league. The best in the East may be Trask if Fromm continues his inconsistency.

Ok..gotcha..you just made it sound like he’s had sooo many chances to prove himself and hasn’t come through.

Dude, Hodson would fricking kill it in this offense with this talent. So would a lot of past LSU quarterbacks.

Agreed. Davy, mauck, lynn, Etling, Howard, Risher all come to mind.

East will be somewhat improved too. Trask at UF, Bentley/Hilinski at USC, and Guarantano at UT. Maybe Fromm if he decides to come back.
