Anyone flying for work right now?

Been working from home for the past two weeks and my boss just asked me to fly out to the east coast next week. I'm in engineering. I've been thinking on it and I'm pretty sure I'm about to email him back and tell him no. Aside from the obvious germ infested airline system I don't want to be in Washington DC when this thing ramps up in the next couple of weeks. I'm kind of surprised he even asked me.

Nope, my company is refusing to fly anyone. Had to take an enterprise rental car from Louisville to Slidell...

Nope. All airline business travel for us is grounded until further notice, my guess another 4-6 weeks

I'd tell him to take his arse out there if it's that important. Nobody wants people from hotspots flying and every damn state that has a decent airport is pretty much a hot spot.
I'm one telling people to not freak out over this, but damn if your boss isn't tone deaf and ignorant towards what we're trying to accomplish regarding spread and delay on this virus.
Washington, DC, NYC, LA, Chicago.... no thanks. I'd stay away from those areas completely. They're the last place you want to be in an emergency.

I’m a traveling consultant and even we aren’t flying right now. Crazy request of your boss an you would be perfectly reasonable to not go.

There are plenty of people that still think this is a regular flu. Some of those people own businesses.
I have heard things these past two weeks that this board wouldn't believe were true unless they heard it themselves.
