Curry will get the nod for the first couple of games at least.. after that is anyone’s guess

TDP gonna start assuming he continues to progress well through the summer. It will be interesting to see who is the most dangerous catching passes out of the backfield.

Toss up between tdp and curry.
I’d lean price just bc of how useful he was last year

I think TDP will be a house hold name before he leaves. He showed power, speed and decisiveness when he played last year.
Curry, boss man, good luck getting in front of that dude because he isnt going anywhere but through your arse
Emory, the guy who makes you look like your own ice. Crazy cutting ability and shake with the most burst of speed and agility at the RB position
Not sure who handles the rock, but I'm comfortable with any of them honestly.

I think TDP will get the start and it will be a running back by committee approach with TDP, Curry, and Emery all getting substantial time, but Emery will emerge as the guy by the end of the season.

All three will be listed on depth chart as the starter and game plan/situation/first play call will decide who the “starter” is

ALL THREE GONNA PLAY!
The boom Champion will earn the right to take the lion’s share of the snaps.
Gotta like John Emery potential with that 10 yards per catch
Rushing and Passing stats 2019
Kinda tough reading Lanard’s stats. Kinda wish he stuck around for that ring. He took lotsa licks out there in 2019.

I see Curry as the starter. Starting him against Oklahoma was telling. The coaching staff obviously has faith in him. He's a strong runner, tough. I think what probably gives him the edge (other than seniority) is his ability to block. CEH was a great blocker. If we're going to throw the ball around, we need an RB that can block well. That's in our scheme now.
But it's also pretty easy to run a two RB system. To wit, Kamara and Ingram/Murray. I see TDP as the #2 based on last season. He's obviously the more elusive back, more of a home run threat imo. Also probably a better receiver.
It sucks that this puts Emery at #3, but his blocking may be a liability. Remember when Burrow effectively benched him during a game? I'm sure he will improve, but he's at #3 right now, behind guys that want to improve and make a name for themselves.

I believe Emery will eventually be the #1 guy with TDP being used quite a bit as well. Those two guys have the most ability and the cream will rise to the top.

I ain’t buying this!
At 10 yards per catch, and playing with one fkn Eye last year, John Emery did pretty damn good.
He can block, and now he can see!
John Emery Legally Blind in 1 Eye

TDP aka Jeremy Hill 2.0
Eventually TDP and Emery will be the best combo in the country

Curry for 1st game. TDP and Emery move ahead for committee. TDP and Emery for SEC play. I think The light goes off at mid season and Emery becomes a force.

Emery will win the job eventually.

What about the new freshman?

We have three high quality backs, and this year, Coach Faulk will further instill fundamentals. All will play well, but Emory can set himself apart if he totally dedicates himself to the playbook and Faulk’s coaching.
