Public service announcement for anyone in the Shreveport / Monroe / Texarkana area...this course is simply incredible. It’s hilly, each hole is it’s own setting with no ability to blow it around to other holes and have a shot. The green complexes are fantastic with lots of different shots required based on pin location, and it was in incredible shape. Also, it was $70 with a cart on a Friday and we played in under 4 hours on a Friday afternoon. I played well and shot low 80’s with a lot of lost shots around the greens as my short game is dull. Given the ball striking i should have been mid 70’s. 7500+ from the tips and almost 7200 from the second set of tees. The pros could tee it up there and be tested. I happened to be traveling near there for a get together with buddies from surrounding states and we stumbled into it not knowing anything about it. If you happen to be with in hour with some time go play it you will NOT be disappointed. I have no idea what funding is propping that up (maybe Murphy Oil?) but wow what a course. I have a buddy with a hunting lease within An hour and now I’ll be working in a round there anytime I go up there...would gladly skip an afternoon or morning hunt to play there...simply incredible.

Awesome course, conditions can be as good or better than Squire, but it'll make you want to sell your clubs.

I once hit a 6 iron to 10 feet watched the ball sit there for 5 seconds and then roll 50 feet into the water.

In the winter you pay whatever the temperature is. Pretty great deal.

Phenomenal course, but incredibly challenging! One of my favorites for sure! Can't wait to make the trip back up there.

Have heard great things but haven’t had a chance to play. Hopefully Murphy Oil leaving town won’t affect the conditions too much.

Never played it but went to the women's mini tour event there a few years back. I think the leader shot 2 under that day. it was brutal and made me never want to play it haha
