I have the 4th in full PPR 12 team league. The more and more i think about it, I am wanting to draft Clyde.. Am i an idiot? Thoughts?

I had Kamara last year and he burned me bad. It isn’t crazy. I was actually hoping that Kamara wouldn’t fall to me and he didn’t so I wasn’t put in that decision. With that being said CEH is over hyped. He has not even played a down in the nfl yet. Dalvin Cook or even Michael Thomas might be the safer pick up if you don’t want Kamara.

Only concern with CEH is pass protection.

If he is getting his QB killed he will lose snaps.

I would take Kamara due to risk profile but it’s absolutely fair to say CEH could finish top 3 in points this year if everything breaks right for him.

I don’t think CEH is going to come out and put up freak numbers in his first few weeks. With no pre season games it will take him some time to get in a groove and getting the pass protection down. At 4 in ppr I would take the best available of Zeke, Kamara, mt13 and Cook in that order.

FWIW, if I had the 8 or 9 selection I would take Drake and Miles Sanders over CEH in full ppr.

Watch the foot issue with Drake...

Play the game making the picks you want and not the picks you think you're supposed to make. It wouldn't be the craziest thing ever for CEH to outperform Kamara.

I grappled with the same question picking 4th in a 12 team PPR. Wanted CEH as an LSU fan knowing what he could potentially do with KC but chose AK over him and Cook. Felt like the safest bet...now I feel like I pussed out. Don't be like me.

I had the 10th and had to choose between Sanders, CEH and Jacobs. I was happy with any of the three. Ended up taking Sanders. CEH went the next pick. Luckily, Jacobs fell to me with the 2.3.

Kamara played last year on a partially torn MCL, IIRC. I expect him to have a nice bounce back year.

Yes, that would be a dumb move. Kamara will play this year with or without a contract extension due to the new CBA.

Well . . .

I'm a fan of drafting rookie running backs in good situations. Had Edgerrin James as rookie, and Saquan Barkley--and I drafted Saquan in the first half of the first round.

However, I did read this today from CBS Sports:

quote:

• RB: Clyde Edwards-Helaire — There's a lot to like about Edwards-Helaire, but when I see him going ahead of Dalvin Cook and Michael Thomas in some of our mock drafts, I just can't get on board. You can't convince me he has higher upside than either.

Would you pick Cook or Thomas before Kamara? If not, then . . . well, you know.
