I’ve been working from home since March and now realize that my work is pretty meaningless. My employer appreciates the job I do and I am a +revenue producer but the majority of my time is reviewing reports that others prepare (jobs for them, keeping people employed) but no one else ever looks at. Do I just keep on keeping on or do I pull a Jerry Maguire and go out in a blaze of glory?

As long as you're using the right cover page on those TPS reports everything will be fine.

Anyone who won't type the word "frick" has not yet reached the point of "Not giving a frick".

In training I always hear "This is a legal document" I translate it as "Some politician made some stupid law that some lawyer got rich exploiting and now we have to pay someone to fill out a report that nobody gives a shite about and we are passing on the cost at a profit to the customer".

Keep your job, and explore other revenue sources that you're passionate about. When you figure that out, invest in it with time/money. When that venture meets and exceeds your current salary, jump ship and go ALL IN.

Rinse. Repeat.

He can also become a thought leader. I hear that industry is booming at $800/mo on youtube

I would suggest that if you go this route, have a plan first.

It's sounds like an easy job that you get paid a lot of money for...and you are complaining. Maybe get a hobby like boxing some other martial arts so someone can beat the puss out of you.

You have been on this site for just under five years and have (until today) only given it twenty posts. And you are a Tennessee fan.

Does anything really matter in your life?

Is it just me? Every thing I’m passionate about doesn’t produce much revenue.. I’m so fricked.

The day you wake up and figure out that being happy and in love with your wife and children has a greater value than money and things. Be thankful, pray and be at peace with our Lord. Losing someone you love is a devastating thing without the peace of knowing that they are okay.

I’m just so sick of being at home all the time. It’s like I finally have the time and money to go and do whatever I want and I couldn’t really leave the house for the past six months. I am, however, going on a small trip this weekend, which will be nice.

I don’t think anyone is going to give better advice than this.

I did an audit of my monthly alcohol expenses since March (COVID), incredible is all I could say.

I'm sobering up - yesterday was day 1

I was spending $500.00 - $700.00 a month on booze and feeling pretty shitty daily
