Wanted to give a heads up to anyone that has already booked thanksgiving travel that both delta and southwest updated their flight schedules for november over the weekend. Take a look and rebook to more convenient flights if the new ones are not what youre looking for. Happy to help find new flights if interested!

ETA: Just got a notification that my december flights have now changed, advise you to take a look at those as well.

Original itinerary was SEA-STL-FLL, now it's SEA-DEN-DAL-STL-FLL

Sacramento/bay area to see family, havent been to the area in probably 7 years so should be nice catching up with them!

Schedule changes were bad-
1. Southwest Sea-Smf changed from 915pm to 430pm
2. Southwest Oak-Sea changed from 130pm to 1030am
3. Delta Sfo-Sea changed from 815pm to 630pm

JetBlue got us good. Was scheduled11/25-11/29 to FLL. Ended up completely cxl on11/25 and moved us to Thursday, and pushed Sunday’s flight from a 2pm arrival to 9pm. Doesn’t work well with school age kids.

I’m going from MKE-FLL on Southwest on 11-21. Departure changed from 12:10 to 15:15. Coming back on 11-27 it only changed by 45 minutes.

Did you get a refund? Can work with you on trying to get new one way tickets like on southwest, but will depend on pricing

Jetblue is turning LAX into a new focus city with many new routes, and leaving Long Beach.

Southwest will begin service to Miami Intl, and Palm Springs, Ca. No routes yet announced.

Where are you trying to get to/from? Guessing nonstop turned into a connection?

Yes going after the leisure market, they've had many issues with LGB and the surrounding area they decided to leave.

Thanksgiving week? Not sure AA has rolled out their november updates yet (looks like they've started though), keep an eye on it over next two weeks

They moved my 8:00ish (PM) flight to 3:00 in the afternoon. I’m pissed because now I have to take at least a half day off of work, possibly the whole day. It’s the latest flight they have. And the prices are ridiculous! If they aren’t able to fill flights to the point they have to condense them, then don’t price them for $300+ one way.

They also moved our return trip up and added a connection. The only good thing is we don’t have to get off the plane.

What dates and routing are you looking at? We can try and find a night flight and also something better on the return.

How long of a schedule change? I know on delta they upped it from 90 minutes to 120 minutes so guessing something similar on southwest.

Then yes you can get a refund. If you plan to fly southwest in the future, you can cancel online and get a credit good for 1 year from your ticket purchase date. Otherwise you'll have to call and I'd guess that it's a long hold time given how many others of us have had 4 hr changes this week

What is happening there?! You stop in two cities to reach STL?? There has got to be a better way!
