Have anyone custom ordered from these two companies and got a long delay notice lately ?

I am going to build a second bag and a big delay could be a factor if everything else is equal.

Appreciate any insight, thanks

Just did both. Srixon 785’s with KBS Tour FLT 120’s. Took about 3 weeks. They felt great but I couldn’t feel the head at the top of the swing. I was gonna trade them in for full credit and get 785’s again with a different shaft. Ended up coming out of pocket a little and getting JPX921’s with Modus 105’s hard stepped twice. Also took about 2.5 to 3 weeks but that was during the preorder.

The pearl finish on the Mizunos looks better in my opinion. The turf interaction was better with the Srixons. They both feel really good (both Japanese forged). As far as feel i’d probably give the nod to the Mizuno‘s, they still feel exceptional on off center hits.

Not too bad, thanks for the reply.

So if you had the choice of both shafts in the Mizuno head, do you like the Nippon shafts better ?

I really didn't like the Nippon AWT shafts in the Pings.

Was also thinking about the Project X LZ shafts, did you have a chance to try that shaft ?

I custom ordered from Srixon with no issues. All the custom work was free. PX 6.0s +1” 2* up all done for free.

That’s was a couple years ago. I can’t think of a reason to change

Good to know Chappy.

I am going to hit the JPX921 Tours on Thursday on course and I hope that the PGA Tour Superstore has the new Srixon models so I can hit those on Friday.

Srixon hasn't even updated thier website yet .

The Modus 105 is the least harsh shaft I’ve hit in a while. Feels semi soft with a little snap at the bottom. So far, I love them. The ONLY issue is the spin is higher than in use to, so into the wind I just need to flight them a little more than usual. But overall, the JPX 921 forged with those shafts feel like you’re hitting a marshmallow

New Srixon irons aren’t coming to the US until January despite being released already in other countries.

I just received a Srixon 785 5 iron to replace my 565 5 iron, took 3 weeks.
