Rick Shiels video discussing fittings. Kind of like his idea of a good fitting scenario Rick video

I'm watching football. Can I get two sentences in the 8 minute video?

They make a few decent points but some are silly. I do think, and have thought for a while, fittings would be much better if it took place over several days spaced out so it’s not a snapshot over a single day and more of what that individual’s swing tendencies look like spread out over several days. But, that is time and cost prohibitive. If a fitter wanted to do that I’d totally be willing to step up for that for my irons.

I got fitted in December and since my "coach" is also the club fitter at a local golf shop, I was able to use 30 minutes after each session to do some club fitting. It ended up being 6 sessions over about 3 weeks, and we spent a good hour one day hitting my final two choices for clubs. I ordered through the shop, so he was patient with me. My set comes in Friday!

The most valid point they make is fitting irons off of mats. It's just stupid. Everyone recognizes its stupid, but no one does anything about it.
