LSU 2021

Ok it is now officially the 2021 season, and I am making a prediction right now that some of y’all are gonna think I am nuts. I am like most all Louisiana men, but that’s beside the point.
LSU will win the SEC Championship and be in the Final Four playing for the Naty at the end of the 2021 season!!
We have both lines coming back and we will be an extremely upper class laden team with players having a lot of experience through playing time this year!
I know this sounds a little crazy but as long as there is spring and summer practice sessions so the new OC and DC can put their plans in, it is going to be a great year! I see a lot of similarities with 2019. No Myles isn’t Joey B, but that kid can sling it!
The only thing i see that could possibly derail next year is if this Chinese virus sh*t keeps the team from practicing and allowing the OC/DC to implement what they want to do with their respective units so everyone is on the same page, I think we will be extremely happy at the end of the season.
We have got a hell of a team coming back for a team that went 5-5, we are going to raise some eyebrows next year watch and see!
Geaux Tigers
Again the only thing I see keeping us from taking home the title is if the new OC/DC don’t have the practice time to implement what they want their units to do! I hope that doesn’t happen this year!
“ Projected returning starters: eight offense, eight defense, one special teams”
That is exactly the same number that we had in 2019!

I agree that we have a ton of guys coming back. That's huge.
I just want to see who the DC will be. Not saying rush the hire but it has to be a slam dunk.
But it looks good right now, that's for sure.

I’m in and I love being underrated just like we were in 2019

Yup!!! Something tells me we won’t be ranked 20th at the beginning of the season, but damn I hope that is where we start!
That would be like walking up to our big men on both sides of the line and literally spitting right into their eyes! They would be so disrespected that fire in them would be turned up to an inferno! lol

They have some pieces. It depends on how good the coordinator hires turn out to be

There will be a lot of new faces in college football next year, especially at QB. This bodes well for LSU. Experience matters.

We don't need to hurry, but we need some one to get ready for next season ! Anny one will be better than Bo!

I don't know about an SEC title and a playoff spot, but this team is going to be good. 9 or 10 win type of season

I think we are the best in the west I really do.
Young for Bama doesn’t impress me and he will be behind and inexperienced but talented O line.
Georgia is the best on paper. With that being said they probably will screw it up. But if they play as good as they are capable then Georgia has to be the favorite. Aggies shouldn’t be problem. But a sleeper is Ole miss. Pretty sure they return a lot and that defense will have more games under their belt.

I mostly agree with LSU's potential to be a great team next year, but everything hinges on the OC/PGC/QB chemistry next year. I think the pieces are all there, but, without top notch play at the most important position, LSU is in the same boat as always.
SEC west will be wide open next year unless that highly touted backup 5* at Bama plays as well as Tua or Mac Jones. Auburn is in ruins, A&M losing a lot of pieces, Arkansas/State/OM are all gonna do what they do. I think LSU can definitely compete to win the west. Georgia's returning talent could be trouble from the east though, and IMO will likely be the favorite to win the SEC.
Alabama's offense this year was great, but basically consisted of finding ways to get the ball to Smith and Harris in the open field. Both are gone so they'll definitely be rebuilding next year no matter how well they've recruited, those two guys are not easily replaced by guys without the same experience while breaking in a new QB.
I like Max Johnson as the starter though. I hate that for Brennan and his commitment to the Tigers, but Max just has that playmaker ability like a Joe Burrow. He fits the RPO/spread system in college better than a pocket passer like Brennan. He also seems to have that cold-blooded temperament where he remains stoic and focused.

Big time, the experience we are bringing back and the amount of players Bama is going to lose should give us the edge though the game is at Bama which is always a difficult environment to win in for the opposing team!
