Viking River Cruises Cancellation Extended Through July 31

The wife and I were booked in mid-July on a Danube River cruise. This was rescheduled from our originally planned July, 2020 cruise.
Now we have to decide whether to reschedule for 2022, or say to heck with it.

I hope they open up before too long. A Viking cruise through French wine country is high on our list.

Keep us posted! We rebooked our Cruise on the Elbe from April of last year to November of this year. Hoping it's a go.

My July Holland'/Belgium river cruise was canceled this morning. This is a trip rebooked from the 2020 canceled sailing. Already booked all my travel for 2022 so another useless voucher is not an option. Thankfully I paid with American Express and have opened up a dispute of the charges. Never, ever pay any travel operator with a check or allow them to take money from your bank account. All I want is a return of the exact funds I paid them in December 2019. But they are already using double speak and corporate speak in an attempt to keep the money.

Viking's notice to me included the following:
The deadline Viking gave me to make that choice is April 16, ten days from now.

Guests who prefer to forgo the added value voucher and request a refund, can call Viking at 1-833-900-0951 or their Travel Advisor by?the deadline provided in the communication notifying them of the cancellation of their cruise.

Viking is Russian-owned, just saying.
I haven’t used them yet, everyone I know who has gone on their cruises came back with positive reviews.
