Hello, we are staying in an Airbnb in Yosemite West and will have 4 full days in Yosemite first week of June 2021. Will be myself, wife and 3 kids (13,11 and 9 all in good shape)

Looking for suggestions on what to do. Thinking Days 1 and 2 in Yosemite Valley, Day 3 in the Wawona / Mariposa Grove area and then Day 4 maybe in the Tuolumne Meadows area. This is our first time here, so trying to hit the best bang for the buck spots and keeping the hikes in the easy and moderate range. Not solid on the Day plans, so open for suggestions.

Anybody have recs on day spots, what spots to hit , etc? Once I have the Day itinerary laid out, I can look more in depth as to best plan of specific spots to hit.

I keep seeing Glacier Point, Lower Yosemite Falls, Mariposa Grove, Sentinel Dome, Brideval Falls , Tenaya Lake, Taft Point, Sentinel & cooks meadow loop and Olmstead point as good trails.

Definitely the Mist Trail. It's not super easy up, but worth it. Lower Yosemite Falls is more of a walk than a hike.

Drive up to Glacier Point in the late afternoon. Pack dinner and do the Sentinel Dome hike. See the sunset from Sentinel dome (headlamps to walk back) or Glacier Point. I wanted to do this but didn't get to. Stargazing is supposed to be great up there!

There's a short and pretty cool hike in Mariposa Grove. Not sure where you are coming in from, but we did this on the way into the park. There's also a short walk to get to Bridalveil Falls which should be gorgeous in June. It was roaring when we were there and you could get wet or stay back and see the double rainbow in the afternoon.

There’s a lot of elevation change to get to the top of Yosemite falls, but it’s worth it. If you’re in good shape it’s worth checking out. I started a little before daylight and was at the top by myself for an hour or so before anyone else showed up. No sounds but the wind, the birds, and the sounds of the water.
I would call this a strenuous hike (not mid to moderate you asked for), but I did see some kids about the ages of yours 3/4 of the way up when I was on my way down.

I would also echo the suggestion of the mist trail up to Nevada and vernal falls. It does get crowded though. I hiked up the mist trail and came back down the John Muir trail to get a different perspective.

Flying into Fresno. Does two days in the valley , day in waxwing/mariposa area and then a day in tuolomne meadow sound good or should I go somewhere else for one of the days?

All 100% "must do's"

This, plus Vernal and Nevada is a complete Yosemite trip IMO. Make sure to get some relaxation in. A creek with a swimming hole really does the trick!

When in Yosemite I like to get the frick away from people, and there are shite tons of them. Best way to do that go up something steep. Death Slabs up to the base of Half Dome is the best one (but way too dangerous for the family), but the Spires Gully trail is damn fine for immediately shedding the crowds. Breathtaking.

You’ll be able to figure it out. Bring water, it’s not easy, but it’s not dangerous either.

Yeah, it’ll be easy to figure out what to do and when. As I said a few days ago, the park is totally tiered by elevation. Go to GP and point at all the things you’ll hike

As of the moment the Mariposa Grove is still closed because of high winds that felled some trees a few months back. Hopefully it will reopen by the time you’re there.

We hiked half dome and it was awesome! Granted we started it at 2am so it was interesting. I saw a lot of old people and kids doing it so you may be able to. If I remember correctly, you have to enter a lottery for a pass.

You can rent bikes for the family and bike all around the Yosemite Valley trails.

Four Mile Trail is a good one. You hike out of the valley up to glacier point

I don't think the hikes are listed in order (could be, haven't checked) but an excellent source of info about hikes in Yosemite (and other Yosemite info) is Yosemite Hikes Website.
