Matchday 4/14 UCL Quarters 2nd leg

Think I read Dortmund missing a lot of starters so will be really hard for City to have their annual quarterfinal exit. Win/win for neutrals imo...either the worst City quarterfinal choke job yet or we get City/PSG matched up next round which would be fantastic
Meanwhile a miracle will be needed at Anfield if last Tuesday is any indication. I’d have hope if fans were in the stands but alas our only hope is likely if Modric and Kroos both pull something during warmups and can’t play
Madrid could be a little worn out from the Classico over the weekend. I just hope we can score first and make it interesting and worth watching
Will post lineups when they’re released

I think we can score 2, but a clean sheet seems impossible. Could see this one playing out similar to the return leg against Atletico. Defending just eventually breaks down (or in this case it could happen early)
Their situation at right back would ordinarily be a glimmer of hope, but A) casemiro covers everything and B) Mane is in the worst form of his liverpool career. Actually really hope Jota starts on the left in his place

How quickly you forget about Lyon last year.

The real decider for City and Dortmund will be the lineup that pep chooses. He tends to always go with some beyond crazy lineup in these games.
If he doesn’t do that we should move on barring a total disaster.

Wonder if we see Milner in mf with Thiago and Fab. The Keita experiment last week was one of Klopp’s worst decisions since he’s been in charge

City are better than Dortmund, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility that they beat you in Dortmund. Haaland and Reus are still Haaland and Reus. I expect it to be a better game than Liverpool/Madrid

I expect to see Milner in with Gini coming in around 70’ depending on the situation.

Is Reus playing? I thought I saw he was doubtful.

My personal favorite was City losing to the Kane-Less "Harry Kane Team".

It's beyond frustrating that he continues to do this and tinker when it has NEVER worked with City in UCL.
He's basically doubled down and said "f it I'm doing it my way or losing" after 3 years of screwing with the lineup in the QFs

Liverpool going with Gini, Milner, Fab in the midfield and the standard front three. Jota and Thiago on the bench. Pretty uninspiring attacking lineup tbh, looks like Klopp is worried about the clean sheet and hoping the goals come
Madrid either starting Valverde at RB or changing their formation entirely. Will be interested to see how they lineup. Casemiro could be in a back 3

Good lineup. I believe this is the same from the first leg.

Apparently a window was smashed on Madrid’s bus as they pulled up to Anfield
