What is the most pain free way to die?

I would think that a heroin OD would probably be the way to go. You wouldn’t even know you’re dying. Just pure ecstasy and then nothing.

Actual pain? Drowning is pain free and supposed to be to a certain degree calming at some point, but I wouldn’t exactly call it a good way to go.

I've heard that about drowning, but just cant imagine the panic that happens before the euphoria sets in.

Was in a bad car wreck once. Didn’t see it coming. I was knocked out and didn’t feel a thing till I woke up.

I just had a HS classmate die of an OD so it made me think.

Knowing I’ve done enough in my life so that my family will be taken care of without me. Other than that...pain don’t hurt.

In your sleep I imagine, never died before so I cant honestly say.....ETA- Somehow I dont think a Mexican Cartel dude cutting my head off with a chainsaw would feel particularly good.
